The 12-day carnival celebrates the rich multicultural heritage of Borneo with a variety of activities and performances.
Cultural Exchange Nights The event will feature “Ethnic Communities’ Cultural Exchange Nights” with performers and cultural groups from China’s Yunnan Province, Indonesia, Brunei, Sabah, and local Sarawak communities.
Food and Handicrafts Numerous stalls will offer a wide array of multi-cultural foods, creative products, and handicrafts.
Performances Nightly entertainment will include a public concert with various local artistes, traditional cultural dance competitions for secondary schools, and a secondary school musical band street parade.
Exhibitions and Records The carnival will also feature cultural exhibitions, with organizers aiming to set world and Malaysian records for the largest collection of traditional baskets produced at a single event.
